Corporación Zona Franca Santiago has created and expanded its services offering with the inclusion of entities specialized in training and teaching al all levels, in savings and credit facilities, in medical care, in community programs and business environmental management and human resources management for entrepreneurship and employability.
On the doors of the Third Five-year Master Plan 2020-2025, the Corporation will set out to:
Evaluate the feasibility of a new park expansion to attract new investments
Diversify the investment from Victor Espaillat Mera Free Economic Zone (PIVEM) with the Corporation functioning as an associate, or leading developmental projects, beyond industries and the free zone sector.
Prepare new projects in the PIVEM for the benefit of the tenants and the improvements of the cohabitation in the park.
Analyze possible investments in the areas of energy, health, tourism, environment, real-estate development, among other activities.
Maintain the mission of operating a greener Park, more amiable, more humane and more profitable.
The Foundation of CZFS is the resuly of its founders vision of development. The Corporation started with 10 companies, which offered employment to a total of 605 people.
Supported the construction of the Santiago Metropolitan Hospital (HOMS), a high-tech healthcare center, formally opened on March 30, 2016.
The institution managed the construction of the Cibao International Airport, wich began on February 15, 2000 and was completed two years later.
CZFS supports Plan Sierra throgh the donation of 5 millions of pesos each year.
Opening of the Center for innovation and profesional Trainning (CAPEX) to offer trainning to employees of the PIVEM and of the region.
Expansion of the Park with the eacquistion of new land to encrease the industrial square footage.
Construction of the first eco-friendly manufacturing building.
Creation of FUNCAPEX the management unit of CZFS projects.
Talent Management Center (CEGESTA), support unit for the attraction and labor development that seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of companies and promote the professional development of Santiago.
MEDICA, consultation center and outpatient care promoted by the CZFS for the benefit of PIVEM employees and surrounding communities.
Currently 81 companies operate in the PIVEM in 180 building, of which 20 are environmentally-friendly industrial sites. Approximately 20,000 people work at the Park.
